Need help to find a MAF for my car!
Hello,
the MAF on my 88 GTA is defective and I would like to replace it with a new one that don't cost too much.
I just need a stock replacement that flow the same. Don't need an adjustable one or one that flow better... Just need something new that flow and works exactly like the stock BOSCH MAF.
And if I decide to buy a used one, wich years will work on my 88 GTA? I heard that 85 MAF won't work because of the connector, but do the 86 to 89 would work well with my car? I saw different part # so I'm wondering...

Go to a good national parts store, and buy it. MAFs are a little expensive. I bought my replacement MAF at AutoZone.

How much did you pay for it? Here GM sell them for like 750$ (canadian) and other normal parts store near 500$... If I could find one online for less...

you could but the sensor online from one of the major retailers. ie autozone, advance auto etc..

That seems to be the going price for a reman. Autozone.com lists them for about the same. Too bad CarQuest seems to have trouble getting the Wells units, since they are a nearly indestructible type.
