Corvette L98 Alum. Heads EGR
Ok how do I get EGR to work with the Vette L98 heads? In other words how did it work on the vette? Parts I need etc.

you need a corvette intake manifold OR buy an aftermarket one like Accel which put the corvette EGR boss in there.. 2nd you will need to get an EGR adapter kit to plumb into your headers. scoggin dicky makes one. their website is www.sdpc2000.com

Will it trash my gas milage if I dont use EGR?
I know I have to disable it in the PROM.

it wont hurt gas mileage... i've actually heard it increases after the deletion
but it will increase your emissions

As far as gas mileage goes, deleting the EGR can hurt it.
When the EGR is no longer diluting the mixture with an inert gas, detonation can occur. Depends on a lot of variables.
IF detonation does occur, the ECM should back-off the ign timing, which will hurt your gas mileage.

my car has an aftermarket base manifold. Its an edelbrock. Does it have the correct ports for the corvette egr plumming? Or do they make manifolds for camaros and then different ones for corvettes?
aside from that I want to get a set of these heads. The ones im looking at have been modified to accept a cam with up to 540 lift. How difficult will it be to tune my tpi set up with a cam that big as it is speed density and doesnt have a maf? Think it would run at all?
thanks
