87 TPI Cyl 6 won't fire, HELP

O.K. here we go, this is a 87 IROC 350 tpi, started with a rough idle. Looked into the distributor and changed the ignition module. Then we started looking at the injectors. We found that cyl 6 is not firing. If you take the connector off all of the injectors, the motor drops in idle, when you reconnect them the motor runs better, but in cyl 6 there is no change if you unplug the injector or have it plugged in. Swapped connectors between cyl 6 and 8 and there is power going to the injector. Cyl 6 has 155 lbs of compression. We changed spark plugs in that cyl and no change, checked the wire for resistance and OK (running an MSD 6a and the spiral pro MSD wires). We put a spark plug on the end of the wire and it sparked. If you pull the plug out and look at it, it still looks new, has no carbon on it, so it is not firing. So we thought it was a bad injector. We bought new accell 24 pound injectors and an afpr from holley. We put it in today with the help of the instructions on this site (thanks they helped quite a bit). Started it up and got the same result. Which leads me to believe that the injectors are all running good. I have exhausted all my thoughts and am not sure what to look for now. Hope it is not anything more internal. Does anybody have any thoughts that can help me out as I am getting really frustrated and my bank account is running low. Oh and the other thing is when I am driving I get a check engine light. It is MAF sensor, but I also read somewhere that an erratic idle will trigger a MAF sensor code. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP.

I don't think it is the wiring because I unplugged cyl 8 injector and swapped it with cyl 6 connector and cyl 8 worked with the connector for cyl 6, and cyl 6 still didn't work with cyl 8 connector

how do you do a spray test? What are the chances that the factory injector and the new Accell both have problems. If the rail had a clog in it, then there would be problems to cyl 4 and 2 on the one side or cyl 8 on the other right? The rail looked clean when we took it apart and changed the injectors.

Pull the valve cover and make sure the intake rocker is not broken. My '82 had a pushrod come up through the intake rocker on #1, it got plenty of compression, but no fuel.

rockers seem to be functioning correctly, did that one earlier today. I am thinking it is a cam. Don't really want to go that route though

Pull the rocker cover and measure the travel of the rockers as you turn the engine. If you've wiped a cam lobe, one of them won't be moving nearly as much as the others.

I experienced the same problem with my #3 cylinder not firing it started out as a slight miss and escalated into a serious loss of power over about a 2 month period I know you checked the injector wires but check them again that was the problem with mine and I got no codes at all. I ended up having to replace the injector connector on #3 cylinder. It was happening intermittantly because the wire was slowly coming apart from the connector.
