New Dyno Numbers for Stockish TPI

Went to Camaro Superfest this weekend in MI and had the new motor and car on their Dynojet. Best run was 239 RWHP and 338 RWTQ
. This motor was built for a blower in mine so the compression is low.

Besides a fully forged 355 lower end, 8:4:1 compression and an LPE216 Cam the TPI is stock. Stock heads, intake, runners, plenum, injectors, TB and even the stock chip.

Any suggs?

Oh we also went with the 1.5 rockers to keep the lift down for the blower. Cam specs are around 213/219 465/472

Put on the blower. That compression is killing you.

Are you running exhaust as well? IE Headers and a catback? I know my car stock was 214, and a buddy of mine, who's 91 was also stock, running about the same #'s, bumped his up to around 235 just tossing some hedman shorties on there. You have a cam in there as well. With that low compression I wouldn't expect much without the blower. I would think mine, stock, with a 216 would be in the 230's, with headers, exhaust, 250's doesn't seem that far fetched. Throw some heads on there and really take advantage of the power you will make with the blower.

I got 251 rwhp with mods in my sig . Untunned. I say that is pretty good. Whatwas the air temp there , also elevation ? I am in Ontario so not sure if that made a difference in powr because of elevation or not

Just out of curiosity, how does it idle with the LPE cam and stock chip?

I was there also, its a shorter drive for me. I wish that I know that you were going, I would have looked for you these.

Your numbers are very good,,, as above, get that blower on that engine.

Car runs and idles perfect with the stock chip. We took the car on the power tour, carlisle show in PA and superfest in MI. 3200 miles in one month and we were getting arounf 23 MPG with 3.42's Car runs fine on the stock chip.
