Got to be careful with spring bind on the heads with the cam you pick.

I wouldn't run anything bigger than a zz4 or LPE211 unless you run better intake, runners, etc.Do you also have headers and exhaust?LT4 hotcam is a waste if you don't have aftermarket intake baseplate, runners, headers and exhaust. Also your going to need a higher stall with that Lt4 hotcam at least 2500 to get any performance out of it.2800-3200 would be the best.

I agree with zz4monte. You def need intake and exhaust mods in order to get the most out of a bigger cam. (i am in the process of putting in a bigger cam also.) I am using comps XFI 260. Summit part # cca-08-465-8. I am unsure if i will need a better vaccuum canister for my power brakes though.

You will be fine on the vacuum with your XFI cam.

Comp 212/218
.488/.498 lift or somewhere near there.
They work awesome in relatively stock TPI setups, with tons of midrange torque and helps the top end.
Also idles tame and great slow speed with almost no drop in mileage.
