Dynoed 305tpi today, results within!

i havent posted on these boards in a long time, well actually since ive had this car. but anyways i put my 85z28 on the rollers today for the first time. engine is a 305tpi and has about 2,000mi on it. i put down 222RWHP and 281RWTQ. not to bad but i really wanted ot hit 230 today, i know if i could have made 2 more pulls it would have happened but i was stressed for time. its running very rich too, got to a low of 12.32:1 at 4100rpm. ive got some more tweaks im gonna do to it i know i can get over 240 at the wheels.

Or, you could get the equipment and tune it yourself. A lot of guys "fine tune" when they go to the dyno - or better, get a "real time" bin editor and tune it while running.

Also, you can tune "max HP" by increasing spark (which tends to lean out the engine as well).

That puts you to almost 280, with the AFR being that low for a N/A motor it should have a good bit more in it. With your mods list it definitely sounds like you need to learn how to do your own chips honestly.

how much am i loosing through the T5? i mean i was glad to finally get numbers but kinda disapointed i was looking for more idk. but another thing i forgot to mention is it has regular bosch platnums in it now and they are 1 step hotter ni the heat range from a factory plug. im gonna put the regular R43's in it and try to tune off them because i eventually wanna spray a 150 shot.

Whoops, I thought you had an auto most people say ~12% for a manual though so you're in the 260 range.

do my numbers seem to be on par with other similar cars on here 305 and 350tpi's? the car is pretty light as well, ive deleted/removed a lot of extra stuff off it so i do have a small weight advantage.
