If you are talking about the 214-220 cam(I don't remember the grind name) then no, it doesn't sound like that at all. Kind of like stock but with more of a choppy sound.

If you want that cam sound, then buy that cam.

 

The cam I had is similiar to the 2032 (I had the Powermax 2050).

hey zepher.... it that 2050 cam better than the powermax 2032 cam... and what kinda of exhaust setup do you have.... one more thing, are you usind 1.5 rockers or 1.6 rockers.... thanks.... your car sounds awesome..........

Yes, I'm still using the stock 1.5 rockers. And yes, I have shorty headers on it with a Y pipe going to a 3" performance pipe, then to a flowmaster muffler with the duel tips.

Some people still dont believe me that I only have a 305. So maybe thats a good thing LOL!!

 

The 2050 is slightly better, but it is a hydraulic flat tappet cam, and not a roller.
I had Dynomax Shorty headers, 3" High Flow cat, and a Pacesetter stainless steel catback from a 4th gen.
