58mm Throttle Body VS 52mm, Trade?
I have a 58mm throttle body, is this going to be too big for a 357?
Anyone out there have a 52mm that they want to trade?

The answer is maybe. If you don't open up the plenum to match the 58mm than yes it is too big. From a technical standpoint the answer is no. I run the 58mm myself.

if all the porting has been done and your running 450-500+ hp then the 58mm would be better. 58mm just flows more air which would mean that our motor would have to be a rever or u will lose low end hp/tq bc the velocities would be lower... like 5500-6000rpms or more peak hp

Re: 58mm Throttle Body VS 52mm, Trade?
There is no reason to run a 58mm throttle body on a car running 450 horse. The 52mm works great until around 600 horse. You don't need the 58mm (1100) cfm which is overkill unless your making serious horsepower. The equation for that would be for every horsepower that you make you need 1.5 cfm of air for it.
