Will SLP Runners fit on stock Plenum?

I recently purchased the SLP runners from SLP. I wanted to know before I go to put them on, if they will fit directly without porting right now? They came with the gaskets and bolts. Any one have any experience with this? Just wanted to know before I go taking them off. I have an 86 IROC 305 if that matters?

P.S.- I do plan to Port everything, but a later time, when I have some $$$.... Thanks!

If you bought the right SLP Runners for your year car as I think there are 2 89-92 and an earlier, but as far as I know they should bolt up no problems, it will need to be port matched as nothing is perfect, but they should bolt up and flow better then stock.

Honda engines ROCK, I have one on my lawn mower but I still have to push it.

Not to shatter your hope but I really doubt your car will get faster with those runners.

The only reason is that my mechanic dented my stock ones on one side so he is eating the cost. I know for now I wont feel probably any difference. I was so pissed because I couldnt find stock ones that were not dented like mine! Well thanks anyways...

You will notice better breathing, IE upper RPM won't feel so lame. but no major 100hp increase like a type R sticker

the TPI system was more designed for 305's and is more restrictive on the 350 (same system i think). therefore you will notice a larger gain using them on 350's. Just like adding a K&N filter on a stock car does almost nothing vs. a stock filter. While a K&N on a supercharged engine vs. a stock filter makes a BIG difference. But hey, i would think it would help some, might wanna follow it up with some 1 5/8 headers.

Having installed a set of these to my 91 GTA with a 350 - 700R4, I can tell you from experience that they made the engine pull much harder above 3grand. The only other mods at that time were Cold Air Intake, Ported Plenum (slightly matched to the runners, but mostly with the EGR ridge removed) Jacobs ignition, AFPR and Strut Tower Brace
