Do you think this is a good cam for this combo?
Edelbrock 6085 heads with Comp Cams 08-304-8(210/220 .500/.510 112). Basically with a LTR setup- aftermarket base,SLP runners, 52mm throttle body, ported plenum, headers. Would this be a good cam or would you suggest another?

Nah I wouldn't run it. I'd look at the comp 264HR for your application. 212/218, .487/.495. With 1.6's, lift increases to .520/.528. I wouldn't suggest the bigger XR269HR for an LTR setup, but it will work well also. Trax ran that cam to a 12.2 with AFR 190's. If you see yourself upgrading intakes soon, you may want to look at the XR269 or XR270HR.
ADD: You can have Comp grind a custom cam. I'd have the 264HR or 269HR ground on a 114LSA and you'll have a nice cam in that 355!

I'm just looking to run mid 12s with the LTR setup. So you think I can get that with the 264HR cam and my combo?

I checked on that 269 cam and was wondering what was thE part number cause thet got one CSXR296HR AND lt1XR269HR?
The one with the LT1 prefix is for LT1 engines which require a longer dowel pin to engage the water pump and optispark distributor. You need the first one.
