lost TPI article
lost TPI article
I'm looking for an article from one of the rags that does a real comparison of TPI intakes, runners and heads. I think it was written in the late 80s early 90s. I've seen it on this board but I can't find it now!! They did a comparison of the stock and aftermarket intakes with heads bolted to them etc. Thanks, I know this is a shot in the dark but had to try.

Re: lost TPI article
That is a good one but not the one I was looking for. I appreciate the effort. The article I found before was either a link from a thread or an article on the board. But it was a direct link to the article showing pictures etc. I liked it because they did a flow comparison of intakes when bolted to the heads. They also talked about cams as well. I figured it was a shot in the dark.

street lethal, that isn't the one I was thinking of but I'll have to read the one you posted. The one I remember all of the images are in black and white. They tested stock runners, intakes, heads and cams giving flow numbers etc. Thanks for the link though. I'm sure a good read. BadSS, you may be correct. I'll see if I can find the actual article online. The numbers in the link you posted look like the correct ones. Thanks

I think BadSS has the correct article, 96 high-tech performance
I think you're looking for the July 1996 High-Tech Performance article. I can't find a link to the article either (I need to scan it), but here's one of my old posts with the info in it.
