Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 BOLT POSI
5.7 tpi missing at idle and tru driving
its an 88 5.7 and its missfiring at idel and driving speed. my spark plug wires are new ant so are the spark plugs. the fuel filter was clogged but i did replace it and still nothing. any ideas what it might be? thanks for your help.

Did it do this before you you did the plugs and wires?
If not, did you drop a plug? Sounds dumb I know, but I dropped a plug when on our trailer, and curled the electrode in on the plug. Had to pull them all to realize this, because I didnt check the plug before I put it in.
If so, check resistance on your injectors.

Also, check the fuel pressure. Are you getting spark? Can be a few things to check before you find the problem.

Do a test on the injectors with a digital ohmmeter with them cold and warm. My GTA was doing the same thing and it turned out to be two bad injectors.

i did check the fuel pressure and spark. but i havent tested the injectors thats my next step. thanks i'll let you know how it turns out

if you had a clogged filter you may have clogged/dirty fuel injectors.

i checked the injectors and they all read 17.3 ohms. what does this mean?
