Soutern Cali Earthquake

Well I cant wait to see if my dang IROC fell off the jack stands. I'm replacing the tranny and on Friday, we left the shop with the IROC up on 4 jacks with 1 jack holding up the engine because there is no tranny to hold it up in place. So worried. As some of you know, I live in Holtville Ca. which is in the Imperial Valley. How does this affect my situation? I live just 15 minutes north of Mexicali, Mexico, where the 7.2 earthquake hit. Had me trippin, first it was a slow roller, then a series of strong jolts that lasted about minute long. This sucks man.

Re: Soutern Cali Earthquake

You are not all that far from ground zero. That was a big earthquake and we can only hope your car came through it just fine. There are buildings that collapsed in Mexicali and roads that buckled.

I know for a fact that my Camaro is tore up from the under carriage. The motor mounts must of tore off. Ill find out tommorrow morning. If my baby fell off the jacks, Ill take pictures.

Re: Soutern Cali Earthquake

Since this not tech related (or even TPI) I have to lock this.
