Re: anybody using Fast EZ efi

I am going to a totally different set up and not sure if the present GM computer will be a pain to calibrate. I like the idea of plug and play tuning it learns as you drive it sounds logical to me to get chip recalibrate once or twice will cost about the same. The answer to your question no I have not yet.

Have a look at 88fastgta as you scroll down the TPI threads. He has an extensive thread on installing the FAST TPI setup. Looks like good info you could use

Re: anybody using Fast EZ efi

Its a waste of cash really, cost as much as the Holley system but can't do 1/3 of the things it can.

Holley system is boost/NOS ready out of the box plus more.

FAST does look cooler with its side rails n underplate squirters but its way over priced once you find it it doesn't do very much. Almost bought one, glad I didn't.

Re: anybody using Fast EZ efi

Thats the whole point I want it simple .I don't plan on running boost or nitros.I read an article in super chevy .They took a good while to dial in the Fast 2.0 to get there engine to 600 horse. Then put EZ EFI on and made 600 horse in two pulls of the dyno. Thanks for the input though.

Re: anybody using Fast EZ efi

I for one, love it. Haven't really been able to use it a whole lot due to the mysterious fuel pressure issue (NOT related to EZ-EFI) that many of us TPI guys have been having. The link documents my experience with it. You should probably disregard all the nay-sayers on this product and make up your own mind. I too wanted simple, not stock, not nitrous-capable. I had any number of guys tell me this is crap, is overpriced, underpowered, how GM had it right with chip, and how you should burn your own chips because this new-fangled technology can't do nearly what the 1989 tech could. Yadda yadda. Like listening to Charlie Brown's teacher. It will handle the future upgrades I have planned without the chip burning and headache. Again, I love it. It's simple to hook up and fairly simple to configure and tweak. Also try a search for a QUICKCHICKEN, he installed it as well. If you have any questions I'd be happy to try and help.

Re: anybody using Fast EZ efi

Thanks BOSS357 followed the QC forum learned a bunch. The FAST XFI II will fill the bill I like using my stock ignition. FAST EZ kit is cheaper but needs a custom distributer.
