My ses lights stays on all the time..no codes only 12..even tried to reset it.but when I ride around light will turn off and car runs bad.

 

could be a bad ecm, also what happens when you first turn the key on,just to the on position? should get a quick flash of the ses light and then it should stay solid.

had a similar issue with mine. be sure to watch the codes flash for a period of time. I was always told that it would flash 12, the stored codes, then 12 again but that's not what happened on mine

 

A bad ecm might explain wh y my fan stays on all the time even when I just turn the key over not startin

 

ok, that sounds like limp home mode. Or field service mode. Could be a bad chip. Light does blink quickly and then turn solid?

 

Yea blink fast then stays on...I'm getting my new ecm intoday so hopfully its just the ecm...does the fan stay on all the time when its in limp mode...

Alright got the ecm in today,put it in and still the ses light stays on so I drove around the block and drove a lot better wit all power and performance then turned off the car,restarted it and the car ran like crap with a bad lope to it..so prom chip might be bad then...

Yes so I looked at the fan and noticed a red wire coming from fan harness so I think someone wired the fan to stay on all the time...I did noticed on my ecm harness a Orange wire that looks as it has slipped out the ecm connector but I don't wanna try tobplug it up to anything and cause more problems..

orange wires at your ecm are fuel related.

 

I would guess, the maf is acting up now.

 

Fixed the problem..MAF was acting up when heated or something.car runs good now
