Re: timing 350 tpi
Base timing is 6* BTDC, disconnect the EST/BYPASS connector and set the timing with the engine up to temperature.

Re: timing 350 tpi
Can bump that up to 8-10 deg base timing and you should see a mild performance improvement around peak torque rpm. Give it premium gas tho.

Re: timing 350 tpi
I'm a complete noob when it comes to setting timing and what not. But I have checked it and it is at 6* BTDC. I've got k&n air filters, dual-cat(less) y pipe, magnaflow 3" catback with a qtp cutout..
Would I benefit from setting the timing any higher? I already run 91 octane all the time (best we got at CA pumps).

Re: timing 350 tpi
From wat I hear yes "disconnect that wire b4 setting timing and once timing is set"cutt car off rehook wire n then disconnect battery for a few min"so computer can reset
Re: timing 350 tpi
Be aware, if you set the base timing above 6* you are changing the entire spark table by that much. The base timing and the base setting in the programming should be the same - 6* BTDC.
