tpi350 or tpi305

Hello, I need to know what engine has been put in my car. It's supposed to be a 89 iroc 350 tpi. How can I tell without tearing it apart ? Are there numbers anywhere ? Thanks

Re: tpi350 or tpi305

the suffix is on the passenger side front of the block under the cylinder head. The block casting number is on the drivers side rear of the block under the cylinder head and can be viewed from the top side of the engine.

Behind driver's side head on the top of the block right before transmission. you will need a flashlight to see. It should either say 5.0L or 5.7L
