leaking oil from under oil cap . .any ideas?
well, i was looking at my engine the other day and i noticed that i have a faint leak coming from my oil cap-so i figured maybe it'll go away; yesterday i got my oil changed, and its still is! what do you guys suggest, that i get a new oil cap perhaps?!?!?
any ideas????
thanks
any ideas????

I had the same problem years ago...I replace the oil cap and problem fixed. But I agree with the PVC possible being plugged. Considering they are only about $5 a piece, you might just want to go and replace that anyway.

sounds like blow by to me. thats what i had. turns out after taking the engine apart i had 3 craked pistons and a bunch of bad rings. do a comretion check and a leak down test to find out what your problem is.
