How exactly do I know if a converter is bad? What kind of signs would it give me? I hear and feel something vibrating at the tranny (i think)only under a light load, if I get on it no noise or vibration or even at consistant cruiseing speeds. If I hit a bump while takeing off the noise and vibration seem to go togather with the bounceing too.

The flexplate is not cracked either but are those supose to be somewhat cuped? could it be that maybe that it aint cuped enough or too much? Still how do I figure out if it is my converter cause that is what im being lead to think but I don't want to sink the money into one if that aint it, if I do need a converter I just might replace the flexplate too while im at it. BUT HOW DO I KNOW??

only stalled once, vibration starts up it seems as soon as the tranny heats up or at least it gets noticible and it will continue doing it even in park at idle, sometimes it seems that it does it till just after the engine stops sometimes. weird i know trust me, i have never realy heard of a bad converter, and the one that was would not stay running, it seemed to lower the stall. but that does not seem to be the case.

The only thing that I can suggest would be to take the converter out of the car and give close visual inspection. Make sure thereare no cracks anywhere and make sure it is not "ballooned". Also I know it's heavy, but drain allthe fluid out of it. Look for pieces of metal in the fluid and then shake it around ajnd listen for rattles. This doesn't sound like a converter problem to me though. Good luck
