Hey man, that's cool. Did you just get that done from them? I sent them an email asking simply if they still do this mod, and I have got nothing back from them. thanks.

they only sell the parts. I had to find a local machine shop willing to take on the milling work. I did the rest myself.

How much did JTR charge you for the parts? Did the required machining instructions also come with the parts?

Thanks. Steve

the kit was around $200. It came with instructions for the machining. The machining cost me $80 by a local shop.

as you can see I gave my machine shop liberty to do it the best way and not necessarily JTR's way.

If you need a shop I can give you the info of the one I used.

200?? for three parts and 6 pages of photostated instructions? Nice profit margin - for JTR.

no, there are more parts than that. It comes with the gear that goes on the tranny shaft (new GM), the machined piece epoxied into the tailhousing, epoxy, syringes, a plug for the VSS (I didn't use), and probably a couple other things I forgot to mention. I agree it is a lot for what they give you now, but it is nice being able to just plug my cable into my tranny. I think $100 is a fair price for what they give you now.

The reason I didn't take pictures of the other parts are because they are either standard GM parts or I made drawing of them so I could get them made if I ever need to.
