tips for installing vette servo...

anyone have any tips for installing the vette servo and/or boost valves? like things to look out for, not to do, to do etc...

i am installing a vette servo and .500 and .296 boost valves in hopes that will fix my absent 2-3 shift...

well ive done both....... and neither one is brain surgery, my only problem was that i broke the e-clip on the boost valve so i had to go and get a new one......but there both easy to do.

and yes that boost valve really helped out the 2-3 shift

by absent 2-3 shift you mean slow.....right? cuz i don't think servos are gonna fix it if it's not shifting from 2-3 at all....

there is a 2-3 shift, just not at WOT. ive tried almost everything besides a rebuild. new tv cable, new valve body, recalibrated govoner. this is the last step before a new trans/rebuild.
