Corvette servo Install Help
I am trying to get the 2nd Apply Piston off. Does the piston come off separately or does the pin come out with it. I get the piston to a certain point on the pin and then it stops. This leads me to believe I have to remove the piston and the pin but to do that I would have to drop the transmission because it hits the floor pan.

the whole pin comes out....have someone pry the tranny to the side while you try to remove it.....you may have to remove the X member...go here...http://www.impalassforum.com/tech/dr...nsgo_servo.htm

When I install them while still in the car, I found that if you unbolt the crossmember, and pry on the tranny to the drivers side, you will usually get enough clearance to remove the assembly.

Thanks for the responses guys. I got everything apart and back together except for the case. I can't get it to go in far enough to get the clamp on. I can get the bottom of the case in but the top isn't going in quite far enough. I am pushing on the cover with a crowbar. Is there a better way or did I put something together wrong(which I don't think I did)?

Thanks for the reply's Riley. I finally got the cover on. I just had to put a little more umph into it. It is on and working like a champ.
