Yeah it will bolt up. About how much it can handle, I heard it can take 450 hp. But I am probaly wrong. Hopefully some one else can conferm that.

The 94-97 T-56 is rated at 450ftlb from the factory. There are guys out there running 600+hp through them with no modifications but a good clutch.

The T-56 will bolt right up to your L98 motor, I believe you have to do some fabbing for the crossmember, and maybe the shifter but i'm not sure. According to everything I see, its a fairly easy swap. You will need the hydraulic clutch parts, slave cylinder, etc. from the donor car to do it.

Go here http://www.skulte.com/T56.html It will tell you everything you need to know about the swap.

The swap is harder than you think! It was a pain in tha *** cutting the hole in the exact spot on the firewall for the clutch master cylinder and swapping pedals wasn't that fun either but DAMN it's a blast to drive with the six-speed! I used the SPD x-member.

It's a big job but well worth it! I make the shift pattern indicators in both white lettering and yellow lettering if you need one.

Get a custom chip. Ya need one for a manual car. Also you can still use the stock puter for SD setups to calibrate the speedo
