I just had my transmission rebuilt and the last step is to reinstall the governor assembly. The only question I have is that the Transgo shift kit does not say anything about the governor. Are there any modifications that need to be made to the governor? I have the Trans Go shift kit for the 700R4. Thanks for any help. -John

 

Probably not. The govener only tells the trans when to shift and has nothing to do with the how fast part.

 

That is what I thought too but the guy that is doing the rebuild
was kinda like wanting me to call and ask and they are closed on saturday and sunday and I was like kinda wanting to get my tranny back today. Thanks -John
