Torque not getting to back wheels
Torque not getting to back wheels
What could be causing low power going to the back wheels? I know there's nothing wrong with my motor, just had a full tune up, brand new intake manifold, 45 minute long intake clean flowing through the motor.
How easy is it for everyone to spin the tires in a straight line without braking?
It's next to impossible for me, and it pisses me off. What is causing this?
Any help/suggestions/comments/stories will be appreciated!

Your problem is the L03 motor, its a little weak. Also your 2.73 gears are really holding you back. It should be pretty hard to spin the tires with that combo.
Damn you beat me to it.

Low power going to the back wheels is usually due to low power coming from the crankshaft. There's no "power leaks" anywhere in between.
You have the base-model V8, the weakest one they put in cars that year. Basically a grocery-cart motor with gas-mileage grocery-cart gears, not intended for "performance" in any manner way shape or form. I don't know what you're expecting out of it but it's probably unrealistic.
If you just really don't like your tires and want to buy more, then in order to enable you to tear up the ones you have, I'd suggest a better motor and a set of gears of a more nearly performance-oriented ratio.
