Well, i guess something wasnt right.... poor 700. Now onto the proven th400.

Nice job Worst thing I've done is split a torque converter open made it fun to try and stop with a 4 foot wide spray pattern of trans fluid on the road.

yeah it's not totally uncommon occurance. gm had a great idea mounting the torque arm to the trans

Not sure if you need to go to a 400. a proper 350 should be fine and save some weight.

Or even get a GN GNX 200r4 if you still want OD

Of course I say this as myself I am not a 700 fan.

Looks like that drum blew itself to bits... I think the drum/shell can spin up real fast and ballon out if one of the one way clutchs slips.

Had the 400 sittin around, all rebuilt, 3000 stall. That will do her. I plan on selling in the spring.... Right now, the whole car is back in peices, interior and all. more damn work.. how fun.... Nah greezemonkey.. i think yours with the world heads will take mine. I have to get my demon tuned.. what size jets are you running? Mine are a little rich yet...I have just bolted it on. But i have only a 825.

I dunno man I`ve never done THAT to a trans Just what were doing when that happened? I`m running a 850 demon with 82/89 and it`s just about right...a darker tan, so I could drop a size or two still for a little more power. If your selling what are you getting into next?

eh, just drivin U dont wanna know what im gettin into next. Something all Maro drivers hate.. A 88 Mustang.. Ouch.. Well, the car was given to me for next to nothing, so i just have to assemble. I need the cash, im gettin into college soon, so now all the fun has to go.. o well... So we def. need to meet at the track this spring before i sell her so i can brag about how slow of a car i had when i was 16.....
