There aren't any "gains" to be realized from the TV system, either it's installed right with the correct geometry or it's not.

like Apeiron said, either its installed correctly or not, no gains will be seen from these parts

So I installed my tv cable, by the way its a B&M adjustable tv cable, and I was hoping to get it running right. The problem is, is that when I take off I pull out of first gear right, but when I am coming from second to third, the car seems to rev and not go anywhere. Every other gear is fine. It also seems to shift a little late overall. Does this mean that I burnt something inside my transmission, or does it just need simple adjustment. If adjustment is needed, how can I go about doing that. PLEASE HELP...I'M LOST!!!

There is no "adjustable" TV cable worth owning as the stock ones are already adjustable. And there is only one proper setting for them. So B&M just ripped you off.

R.E.B.U.I.L.D is your friend. Your trans is quite possibly screwed, no way to save it. If you have severe flare up on the 2-3 WOT upshift, or even in part throttle upshifts then its time for a new transmission.

There is a right way and a wrong way to adjust a TV cable. The right way keeps your trans happy, the wrong way burns it up.

Actually the B&M cable was only $5 more than the factory one.
also its only does that when downshifting or when there's too much throttle being applied. they car did run better this morning but its still doing it a little bit I'm hoping it just needs adjustment.
Do you guys think my tranny is doomed?

Thanks for your help everyone

I've been where you are.

SEVERAL times.

Start saving now, if the fluid level is correct, and the TV cable correctly set, but the transmission still acts odd then you have to face the truth. Your transmission is going south, you need a rebuilt or new transmission.

At what throttle openings does the 2-3 flare happen?

At anywhere between mid-throttle to full-throttle is when 2 and third flare up. It's so touchy that I drive as if a cop is behind me all the time.
