Identifying a WC T-5

I know ther is someone here that can tell me how to identify a WC T-5 tranny. I am purchasing one online and I really need some advice. Yes! Yes! Yes! I have done my research for what time I can get access to a computer but some of us have 3 small kids and half to work all the time ! I have asked before how to identify a V-8 T-5 and had no replies. Any help would truely be appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

You need the number of the tag which starts with 13-52-xxx.

The three numbers after 13-52 are what identifies the tranny.

Once you have that number go to http://www.5speeds.com/t5/index.html, scroll to the bottom of the page and select the number from the drop down box. It will tell you what the tranny is.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Here's an even better one I found.

It shows both kinds; the old one on top, and the newer on the bottom. Look at the difference in that big bearing in the front of the case.

If your car has its original 86 transmission, it should be the old style. But they're a direct swap, so who knows what might have happened.
