drive shaft removal
drive shaft removal
Just wondering what is going on..
WCT5 trans,
as I attempt to pull the drive shaft out, I get trans fluid leaking out from the tailshaft of the trans...
There is nothing in the GM shop manual that suggests fluid will drip from the trans when the ds is pulled?
What's going on here? Any info would be appreciated.
TIA

I just pulled my drive shaft out yesterday. It leaked lots of transmission lube when I pulled the yoke out. It must be normal.
Great to hear guys - many thanks
It just floors me when after reading and re-reading the unexpected happens... I'm sure you guys know what I mean
At least this time I kept my cool
and didn't throw, punch, kick or even curse

farther more one of these can be helpful in cutting down how much fluid that you lose.this will plug right into the tail shaft.
