Anybody used this transmission guy ?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/700R4...87522439QQrdZ1

The cost of rebuilding my 700R4 over here in the U.K is around £1200 and so therefor its much cheaper to buy a built box from the states. Problem is that its a one shot deal and if i buy a bad transmission i'm screwed.

This guy seems trustworthy but i thought i would ask you guys ?? alternatively could any of you recommend a good transmission source

I have no 1st hand dealins with Mad-dog transmissions. Other here have. I stronly suggest running a search on the topic before making a decision.
Pro-Built is a forum sponsor. I purchase parts from him and am very pleased with his service.

I bought my level 2 700 from "700r4.com". I have heard only good things about pro-built.

hows that bowtie tranny treating you? BO seems to be above average in the tranny business from what i read, decent prices as well.

I have not had any problems with it. I do not race it or abuse it so i don't know how it stands up to that.

Re: Anybody used this transmission guy ?

MAD DOG TALKS BIG "I AM NOT A BOZO." My trans in my 57 Chevy broke after 700 miles and he has a whole list of reasons why it broke but none that affect him. NO GUARANTEE - NO WARRANTY - NO HELP!!
