not shifting that good

Ok in the morning when drive my car and it is cold it shifts good into first and second and third good but after a minuite when it gets warmed up it doesn't shift into 3rd or 4th with out me getting the rpms high and then letting of the gas and then it shifts. I think I have to much fluid in. Could that be why?

Hes talking about the TV Cable in your tranny that allows you to adjust your shiftpoints, not Cable TV. LMAO!

I did that as a joke, and I thought everyone would get a kick out if it. But anyways where do I find that. I don't know squat about transmissions. I am only 17, but I do know a lot about my engine.

TPI is Tuned Port Injection, on a 305 or 350. MPFI is Multi Port Fuel Injection on 2.8 and 3.1 liter engines. The TV Cable is located in different places on each setup. Since u have an engine that is not stock, what is it carbureted??

I really don't know on a carburated engine, only on TPI and MPFI. Some1 should know, if no1 does here, ask it on the Tech Board.

It should be located right on the throttle linkage. There should be 2 cables on the linkage. One for the tranny and the other for the gas pedal. If there is a third cable then it's for the cruise control.
