I've got an '85 T/A and am beginning to not believe that my rear-end has the 3.73's the previous owner said it has... Is there an easy way to check? It's not throwing my head back like I think it should be with a 350, 700r, and 3.73's.

The only way to really be sure is to take the cover off of the back and read the gear. On the side it should say 41:11 if it's a 3.73. If it's not, then just divide the first number by the second and you've got your ratio.

What are your RPM's at 60? I have a 3.70 and i'm around 2000 at 55 or 2200 at 60
