Place to buy built 700R4

So, about three or four months ago I found a place to buy performance rebuilt transmissions, specifically they sold a 650hp capable 700R4. Does anyone know what this website is? If I recall correctly it was a banner on this website that I clicked, but I haven't seen it in a while and forgot to bookmark it

No, that place is a bit more expensive than the other one I had found. I just wish I could find it again. The website i'm thinking of had a ton of different types of transmissions, for all years of Camaros and other GM cars.

probuilt or performabuilt are the only ones I`d buy on line. They have both been used alot by people on this board and I`ve never heard any bad reviews. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.I had someone local try to build one similar to theres so I could save on shipping.I`ve taken it back 3 times and it`s still not right.Spend the money!!!

Yeah I know I know, you get what you pay for. I'm just hurting from not driving the car for the past 8 months, and STILL having to pour more money into it until it'll be drivable

Performabuilt actually isn't that bad price wise... though the 6 month warranty worries me. The car will likely not be on the road for up to 6 months after I buy it. Maybe I should hold off on that for last.

I got my 2500 stall converter from performabuilt and thats about the only thing I havent had problems with from my rebuid.I think the warrenty is a year if you get the converter too.I`d up the stall while I had the trans out.

I was in a hurry to drive my car again as well. Now i`m pating the price for being impatient and trying to save a few hundred bucks. If these guys dont get their stuff together I will have to spend more money.Only trying to help.

Yeah I do need a converter. They offer a 2500-5000 stall, what does that mean? I'ma email them this afternoon about it, but figured I'd ask here. Most stall ratings I see are a very small range, not large like that (eg 2200-2500). if that means it doesn't lock up until 5k under heavy throttle, AND it's a lockup... then I'm sold .

Dana a probuilt is probably one of (if not the) best with a 4l60, performabuilt has been gaining a god reputation, I know PATC and their Raptor line-up has always seemed to have a good reputation.

Bowtie overdrives seems hit or miss, monster is mostly miss, not sure about any others.
