T-5 Swap help. I don't think clutch is disenaging?
Well in nuetral when I start the car I try to put it into first. Won't let me.
When I start the car in first it moves forward with the clutch pushed in all the way.
Friend said that I need to bleed the clutch... I'll try that later.
I read from some else it sounds like the input shaft is stuck to the pilot bearing? I put grease in the pilot bearing and around the input shaft... how could it do that?

Funny you posted that. I made that mistake once. I fixed it so it wasn't underneath the clips.
But I will bleed it tomorrow cause I have to do school work.
I'm just getting ideas as to how badly I'm screwed...
Also as a response to your signature, it is the guy who inherits all those tools that wins :P

the input shaft can get stuck on the pilot bushing no matter how much you grease it. It happened to me 2 out of 3 times. I just put it in first, let of the clutch completely, held down the brakes, then started cranking the engine. After a few cranks it broke free and and started up and worked fine.

Will these work for my motor?

teh grade 8's are probably fine for the pressure plate, but the flywheel to crank bolts need to be specific, regular ones heads are generally too tall

I just jacked up the car and felt around. I didn't feel anything on the bell or the transmission. So it's gotta be the actual driveline and those bolts are the only things I can think of.... Felt the starter too and it's fine.

Are ya sure the TO bearing is on right?
It will sound like its clicking as it rubbin on the clutch disc center tangs and then when it stops clicking, they done wore through and its time for a new one.
Been there
One I got in the clutch kit was crap compared to what came off, got a nice beefy federal mogul one off the shelf instead on the 2nd times.

You got one of them cheap TO bearings then, real thin n flimsy, get a good name brand new one of the shelf. No way it will bend.
