Here's what your car was originally equipped with, but after 20+ years what your car has is anyone's guess:

Re: Rear end

i understand all of that, but the thing is, there are no 3.45's listed anywhere. the only thing i could find is that it had to have come out of a ford rear end?

no ford rear gears will bolt into a 10 bolt. 3:45 is a 9 bolt ratio

sure its not 3:42?

Re: Rear end

Tyer, look on the bottom of the rear or under the "pumpkin", does it say borg warner? if so, someone swapped in a 9 bolt down the line.

Easier to simply count the bolts.

The 10-Bolt FAQ will explain how to identify what gears you have, if you're really curious.

Re: Rear end

There are no 3.45 gears for the 7.5 10 bolt. It has to be a 3.42, or it's a 9 bolt, or you figured something wrong.
