Recently picked up a neglected B&M truck shifter for $20...im gnna clean it up & paint it. The shifter fits perfect in my console...amazingly perfect. But im confused about hookin' it up. There are two cables...& there is the electronic gear selector (or w/e u call it) so what do i do??

Well, you need the B&M cable to go with it. Do you have that?

Also, it looks like that thing has one heck of a throw on it.

 

Ok got the B&M cable ordered....ive already test fitted it...from park(P) low(1) its got just enough room. My dilemma is if the OD will work with this shifter bc it has D-2-1...stock shifter has OD-D-2-1

 

BTW idk which cable is which any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

 

Well aparently its not for OD trans. so its a no go....some one want a used B&M shifter???

Really???? well.....in that case where did u get that info bc i would really like 2 use that shifter.

 

yes im pretty sure..look for b&m shifter threads on aftermarket product reviews and interior and other threads...u shud find one
