Engine: 305 lg4
Transmission: 700r4
simple (maby stupid) question

i have an lg4 305 with an automatic transmission but cannot seem to identify if it's a 700r4 or a th350 is there anything i can identify it with? any help is appreciated

Google pics - search pics of 700R4 and th350, and you'll easily see the difference.

Also, 700R4 has 4 forward gears, th350 only has 3.

700R4 requires a TV cable (look at pics of that), th350 take a "kickdown" cable.

700R4 has no vacuum lines to it, th350 has a vacuum line.

And on and on and on ....
