What is the thread pitch of a T5 drain plug
i am going to install a temperature sender for a trans temp gauge in my car so i dont blow the tranmission up again.
i would like to know what the thread pitch is for the drain plug in a t5 transmission.

dont know if magnetic plug will prove anything in this application. the drain plug is on the "top" passenger side, of the trans since it sits on an angle. any sediment will settle to the "bottom", driverside of the case, and away from the drain plugs. there is a magnet in the case for this purpose. grab a little bolt and move it around on the bottom of the trans, you will find a spot where it "sticks"

what size do you need? summit has just about everything.
