r700 to muncie 4 speed
So i am converting from auto to man in an 87 camaro. I bought nothing to special for a master cylinder just a sachs from rock auto. Now what i am wondering and looking for is, where the white plug is on the photo, i need to run a hose from there to a hyd. throwout bearing. from pictures it looks like a plastic hose. Can i use something different that has a slot for the little black bar in the photo? Sorry if this in unclear. I can provide more pictures to make it more clear.

Your title says r700 to muncie? A muncie does not have a hydraulic clutch. at least mine did not.

Correct but they make swaps such as a hydraulic throw out bearing that mounts to trans and in a way makes it hydraulic. That is what I am looking to do.

Yes I understand it's impossible a t5 or 56 would be awesome but I got the 4 spd in my possession and already have the pedal holes drilled. And idk lol try something different. No one else will have it

had one in a '67 and they are plenty tough, best thing about it was I could remove and install it without a jack! just pulled it onto my chest and wriggled out from under it. the car did ride a bit high though. 3000 rpm at 60 mph with 4.10 gears and topped out at just over 115 mph at 7000 rpm, but it sure got there quick!

Yeah man, I actually just decided on doing the same thing (putting in a Muncie 4 speed). They are tough transmissions no doubt. This older gentlemen I hang out with from time to time to talk cars has a '67 Camaro with a Muncie in there, and he was literally slamming it into gear when he took me for a ride; it took all the abuse just fine. He told me too that they have a kit for those transmissions to give them like an overdrive pretty much. They're expensive, but I think I'm going to put the 4 speed in and enjoy it until I have enough to get the kit for the overdrive.
