t56 in a 350 sbc?

Car: 1989 Pontiac Firebird
Engine: 2.8L V6 (For now)
Transmission: 700r4
t56 in a 350 sbc?

I am gearing up to get my new motor put in but first i need the transmission that will mount behind it....i wanna get the t56 obviously, but i wanna know what all will need to be done to get it to mount up behind my 350....it is a 4 bolt main, bored.30 over with afr heads and stage 3 port and polish job....thanks

Where did you find many threads NOT related to sbc ?

Virtually all of the threads here are referring to normal SBC, unless its on an LS1, and then you usually arent hearing any asking.

all the sbcs are the same pattern on the back. Whether they're a 305 or 350 or variations. So whatever thread you find will work. The only major thing you need to watch for is whether your motor has a 2 piece or one piece RMS. if 1 piece, can use stock flywheels for the application, if 2 piece then you are in need of a $$$$$$ flywheel.

If it says LT1/LT4, it's about an 86 and newer SBC; they're identical in how the transmission and flywheel bolt up.

If you have specific questions not addressed there, ask them.

I agree just ask also you can search I find it easier to search on google tho and add thirdgen at the end
