v8 tranny in v6 2.8
Correct me if I'm wrong....but a 700r4 out of an 87 T/A 8 cylinder has a different bell housing than a 700r4 from a 2.8 liter 6 cylinder and will not bolt up....am I correct? I had a little argument with someone about this.....and would like to know If i was correct or not correct about this issue. Thanks

Yes the bell housing bolt patterns are completely different; neither trans will bolt to the other type of engine.
