i have finally installed my T56, last thing i have to do is make a clutch line.
first up parts i used

88 cavalier slave cylinder
all stock 3rd gen parts i.e. pedals & master
now im onto the clutch line..

how do i make a SS one and what parts do i need. i have never done this before. i tried searching but i cant seem to find anything for a clutch line all i find is for brakes and fuel. any insight will be helpful and especially part numbers and places to buy them!

Thanks!

Re: T56 clutch line question
or is there another option? im open to suggestions. i would prefer not to crawl under my dash and pull it all out to make custom pieces. and i just ordered the slave because i read it on here in a few other posts

Re: T56 clutch line question
I used 3rd gen pedals (but i had to modify it a bit), stock lt1 T-56 clutch hydraulics (slave, clutch line, master).
I tried using the 4th gen pedal but it had too much travel and my clutch fork kept grinding on my pressure plate. so i used the 3rd gen pedals.
theres a thread on here about the clutch hydraulics similar to what your trying to do. theres also a thread on how to modify the 3rd gen clutch pedal. ill try to find them a post the links for you

Re: T56 clutch line question
as far as making hte line... there are places you can have make custom brake lines and whatnot for you, they could probably do it. See what's in your area. The other option is to buy a T56 hydraulic setup... not ideal. Maybe get one from a boneyard?

I wholeheartedly support the thirdgen pedals + 4th gen master + cavalier slave mod. I had issues with using the whole 4th gen setup with 3rd gen pedals, and i like 3rd gen pedals for the firewall braces they have.. Clutch fork was banging on the pressure plate.

Re: T56 clutch line question
would something like this work for my setup?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/380760832140...84.m1423.l2649

there is next to no one around me that does that kind of work and all the machine/engine shops around me suck or charge out the *** for EVERYTHING, had a rod replaced on 1 piston that was already removed and it was over 100 bucks. my uncle in north carolina said most places around him do it for less then 30 bucks
