Some times nothing works like an Impact Wrench - I only paid $35 or so for this one - my compressor is a P.O.C. from a fleamarket, it leaks air but it works, I think you can get a small compressor for $99. I highly recomend this tool. (What'd you think I was talk'n about?)
PS. Happy Halloween from Ol' Hot Head!

LOL! Love the mask! Welcome to the world of air tools; and it won't stop with just that one Campbell-Hausfeld gun, trust me. Where's the compressor leak from? Think it just needs to have a fitting re-done with new teflon tape?

Looks like you've had too much coffee!

And hey here's a tip, when I first got my campbell hausfeld compressor, sometimes, the impact gun couldn't loosen some of my suspension bolts (like the track bar or lower shock bolts)... I thought I bought a POS compressor. Then I started looking around, and found out it's not the compressor, I had a POS impact gun! Got a dual-hammer gun for $80 from Home Depot, and haven't had a problem since. Still got the cheap gun (came with the compressor, along with a paint gun and 50 feet of air line) for loosening lugnuts, but if I need power, I grab the dual hammer one.

The compressor is leaking around the Reed Valve – I’d don’t know if I can even get parts for the old thing. But my point is you don’t need much of a compressor – 80 psi or so will loosen most stubborn bolts. I’ve heard of people making their own, out of an old A.C. compressor by driving some screws or bolts through the clutch to lock it up & hooking it to an electric motor - but then you have to buy the gauge, tank, & all the hardware, just buying a small compressor wouldn’t cost much more. But there are jobs that are almost impossible with regular tools that are a snap with an impact wrench – Fer instance, I found a good alternator but it has the pulley for a flat belt – mine has a V belt, and getting that nut loose is a B. but with air it’s a breeze.
Also I started to say “Attn: Ladies “ on the heading … but I figured I was getting into enough trouble - But if you are a gal, and you want to work on your car – this is the equalizer .

About The Costume:
The mask was easy, setting my Head on Fire was the tricky part!

Doesn’t anyone remember the old Ghost Rider ? Is this what happens to Comics Super Heroes when they’ve past their prime? Spiderman & Batman get all the glory & Capt. America & I can’t even get on Medic Aid? ( At least you guys didn’t waste your youth sitting around reading & collecting comics – that’s a good sign!) I feel so… OLD.
Hey, what about the time I saved the world from Mutant Headlice ? …. Anybody remember…. ?

What's a reed valve do? Is this one of those belt driven compressors? Don't think mine has that...

Hey, wait, those were real flames? Damn!

Well how 'bout that, didn't know it was an actual comic book figure, just found this print: http://page.auctions.shopping.yahoo....0?aucview=0x23 I was wondering why you were standing next to a bike!

Reed Valve aka Flapper Valve, is the one way valve on the intake - lets air in, then snaps shut on the compression stroke.

&Hey, I cannot tell a lie (actually, I can tell some whoppers) I "PhotoShopped" the Picture – The flame is “air brush” , I'm actually standing in front of a blue screen.
Pretty Scary Pix, ain't it - I mean, there is something frightening about ol' dudes running around dressed up as fictional characters - I think that STAR TREK CONVENTIONS started that way. (Eeek !!) Hope Everybody had a Good Holiday!
