Camaro rs 88: the hyper chip will give you about 20 to 65 hp depending on how you set it up... comes with a handheld to adjust... i dont have because it would lower what ive got

I want one of them chips. I would have no problem paying 140bux to add 65hp to a stock car. LOL

Ill bet this will be locked, but anyways. Sounds like the kid here who tells me its a shame I can't put a chip in my T/A (I could but not worth it IMHO) since they make huge differences. Or the person yesterday who told me his neghbors cop crown vic had a twin turbo big block V-8. My other favorites are the factory 6 speed 390 hp 76 vette, and the 230 hp stock LO3. I hope to race the LO3 this spring, and then laugh my *** off as he tells everyone I must have like 450 hp to do that to him.

 

Yanno.. that's not quite funny anymore.. I had someone with an lo3 tell me they did have 450 hp.. said the previous owner dropped a race motor in it... was a long time ago.. but I notice his LO3 wasn't any faster than mine, and I'd be happy if mine was able to push stock numbers..

EDIT--- and.. after actually steeling my stomach so I could read the top post.. *LOL* That's worse than the 3.1 running around here with viper-style stripes and Onseki R stickers on it (misspelled, but I could care less. It has import performance stickerpower on it)

 

It is entirely possible to get around 20-40 HP from a chip. But the thing is your are goning to be spending ALOT of time tuning it properly.

 

Ok v6, I may agree with you, however, not a hypertech he bought off the shelf for 140 buxs.

Esp when hypertech does not list one for the v6, and jetchip only list ganes of 10-15hp.

Oh yes, I'm sure a tranny rebuild, a beefy rear end, a cam, and piston rings will net you 11's for sure in a 2.8 that came with 135 horsepower. Yep. And my Mustang ran 4.85 at 220 mph last week.. It'll pull mid 4's on a good day but I had a hard time hooking it into 3rd.

It appears this young lady has no idea what she is talking about.
But I can almost understand her Chip idea. I read on MSN a few months ago an article about how the camaro and Firebird died was because of the latest "50hp" chips that were everywheres.
The article said very bluntly that you can just go buy a chip for strap it on your stock Focus, or Civic and gain 50hp. Its sad because an article like this would be read by millions, and misleading to thousands who knew nothing.

Obviously she is trying to lead people on. Infact she might just be saying this crap sitting in her chair laughing at people who shes thinks is believing her every lie.

Some people just don't know how stupid it is to lie about something so trivial.
