FYI, 4 cylender Turbocharged cars still get shamefull gasmilage for a four banger. I know, I have one. 1988 Sunbird GT Turbo. 20mpg City. Once you even put the pedal down so you get some boost produced, the ECM has to add lots of fuel. You have to run premium octane too. Unless you want your piston melted from detonation.
I know u arn't getting one anymore. BTW, you think your firebird is bad for fixing? HA! 2.8's are so ****ing easy to work on it's not funny. New cars = compact = A BITCH to fix.

No prob if you can't; but it'd be cool as hell to see a 700r4 rebuild as it was being done. Good luck!

Hey could you get a parts & price list up for us when you're done? Like the name & model of the rebuild kit, etc?

Well its the first day we started on getting my trans out and rebuilding it we started about 12 and got done around 5 today..because race came on..we got transmission out thast about it..takes alot of work..first we took drive shafter off. then we just loosend some bolts and ect. from trans then took trans off engein took alot of work to get trans undone from engine because there is 6 bolts and you ahve to telt the engin to get to the top to bolts but it was hard and alot of work but still got to rebuild transmission and put it back into tomorrow..i think we can get it done!!

and by the way does anybody have any basic layouts of the transmission like a picture with all the parts inside tellen what they are ect?? if so email me at throop13@aol.com i really need that..!!
