This is what ya end up with.
I'm not sure of the "code" BUT only RWD 3.4 mills are worth the effort.
One doesn't use a FWD 3.4 mill under a 3rd gen F Body.
Hope ya socre these.
Buy both, auction off one!
PS Everything fits just fine & the Pace Setter Street Legal Headers still fit the 3.4 under a 3rd gen just fine, too.
I smog mine in ca a 1985 2.8, & ya can see why! I say nothing & works just perfectly for smog testing, too.

If you follow KEDS swap thread you dont need the ecu and wiring so that would be perfect.

Take abetter look at teh picture.
You'll see it looks identical to a 1985 2.8 because I use induction/ignition/exhaust from original vehicle.
No need for much else, except the 3.4 injectors going into the 2.8/3.1 fuel rail. And 3.4 balancer & 3.4 flexplate-flywheel. Everything else ya need is on your original vehicle engine.
Everything works exactly as it did, cause you are still using the original vehicle wiring harness & orig vehicle ECU/ECM
It is a very simple yet detialed swap. And it's a custom engine swap so one can do as ya please. Best/most simple is just duplicte what ya removed & install it on the 3.4.

TREVOSE!!!
DAMN I WENT TO BUCKS COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE how I know those roads well.
1993-1995 (early, as the 3800 was introduced by Jan 1995 production build dates) F Body.
Thanks for the back East memories of me driving those roads in my 1966 Corvette. Really thanks......
I got my Brother his 1961, 2 x 4 Mechanical cammed Corvette w/2 tops at Newtown Chevrolet.
Thanks for the back East memories.
Enjoy spring!
Each swap ya do of this 2.8->3.4 Long Block Swap Boogie is your own stamp of quality of work.
The beauty is in the details, sweat them & enjoy many miles of smiles.

For what it is worth, I followed KED's 3.4 swap boogie to the letter. I had great results and still have my stock tranny. I put a different fluid than dextron 2 in it to potentially compensate for the power increase. I used a synthetic (red circle) AFTIII, left over from my Dakota changeover. This particular formula has a friction modifer which I guessed would help handle the increased load from a stock tranny with a more powerful engine. However, I broke part of my torque converter in the swap and had a dry, virgin converter when I did my fluid exchange. I still wonder if I would get better mileage if I changed to a synthetic Dextron II or III. Synthetics are the way to go for trannys, diffs, and under the right conditon, your engine as well.

I've had syth tranny fluid ever since the second week that i've had my car. I cant tell you if it made a difference because i didnt drive it the first two weeks i had it, instead i did a huge tune up on it. Repaired some small dents, Ripped out some underhood stuff(air filter box, ac system etc) Ripped out the shreadded head liner and installed a cd player.

FYI
I've READ on another webiste, that the 3.4 is NO LONGER IN PRODUCTION as available as GM Crate engine over the GM parts counter.
What's out there in a crate, is it.
Keep at it, all.
Happy to INSPIRE ya to have some sick demented gear head fun and produce a decent ride/swap in the end!
Hope my 3 1/2 year old Son wants to play, as sick as I like to, with cars, one day.
I think he enjoys the rides in the 1974 Corvette with the T Tops off (in his 5 point baby seat) the most.
I think the exhaust rumble makes it thru the "two seats" to his butt!
No I do not take him on windy canyon roads at high speeds. Just a fun cruise to the store (neck injuries, on a 3 1/2 year old make for a very bummed life!).
Thanks for putting a smile on me from the compliments.
I offered the 2.8->3.4 Long Block Swap Boogie thread (and put out effort to get us the 3rd Gen 60*V6-any size engine 2.8-3.1-3.4 Street Legal Headers from Pace Setter Exhaust) to put a SMILE ON YOUR FACE, as soon as ya hit the igniton key after the swap is "done".
Sick demented gear head fun is the best thing to pass around! ESPECIALLY ON AMERICAN IRON!
