Turbo install
This may sound kinda dumb but i dont have ANY experience with turbos, so i must ask.....why does it seem like everyone thinks it is impossible to put a turbo on a 2.8? I am sure that someone out there has done it or just came close? Let me know what the problem is, who knows maybe i or someone else just might be able to figure something out. Thanks alot.

On probation hey, why's that?
Welcome to the boards Badass. I'll say what he said, but nicer. Use the search button at the top right. Search the v6 forum for turbo with names like Doward, and Techsmurf (did I miss anyone?). You'll see that it has been done recently by members, but the problem is that it's 100% custom and few are willing to fork over the time and $$$ to try it.

Thanks
Yeah im sure he will figure out why he is on Probation eventually. I will search for those and maybe someone who has the means to do this can possibly make one affordably and we can make this available to all the V6ers and help give the v8 a little more to run against. (hehe, not bashing the V8's because i got one of them too but figured it was worth a good laugh)

Probation has nothing to do with it. Take a look around the site. Anymore its full of new members asking the same old questions.
It gets REALLY old fast! Seems like no one reads the stickys at all.

It's not going to be any phyicaly different than puting one in a 3.4 or 3.1 other than the belts and stuff are set up a little different.
If you want to see some idea and stuff check out my car domain site. If you want you don't have to run with the herd and put a T04/T03 turbo in your car.

I had a CNC machine port out mine... I don't think I'd recommend porting the bell with an air grinder, as channeling the exhaust flow to the turbine is CRITICAL in the turbo's performance...
