Performance gains from Headers
I'm just wondering what are the exact performance gains from installing headers. They do look sweet once you open the hood.I've heard their not really worth the money performance wise.Do they also increase fuel economy. Please list pros and cons.

I can show you pictures later today if you wish of them installed.
MPG did seem to increase a hair (maybe more if I kept my foot out of it).
Power, DDD2000 claims almost 20hp. I belive pacesetter claimed 10?
Almost any true performance junkie will tell you headers is in the top 5 items to change on any engine.

Dale speak to Mr Gerle about the exhaust note "problem".
IF ya look at the "T" junction under your hood, try removing 5-7HP from your current running engine.
Where is that "T" junction?
Open hood, look down, passenger side exhaust at engine. Deduct HP.
I can't wait to get my set!
It may be for Valentines Day gift to Wife! HAHAHA

The biggest restriction on most cars is the stock exhaust system. When a car can breath free from both ends, it then performs better. And even though a car may not suck as much as ya want, free'in up the blow helps.
An engine is a big air pump.

I dont care about the tone. It works, thats all I care.
It could be my catback, exit muffler pipes, muffler itself. I'm sure tone could be changed if you wanted. I dont care.
