Easy fix?
My oil pain has a slight dent in it from the other owner and now it started leaking. Its enough to come out in a very fine fine fine dripping, then when it starts to cool down it comes out like 1 drip every second
Now i heard its a pain to change it and since its a daily driver, i can't afford to be held up. A buddy of mine put some gas tank sealer on his and it worked well, what do you think? Any other ideas? I don't have a welder either. Thanks guys
Yes I have three different posts going with different problems, really stressed out now

Best is to
Take to muffler shop
Have them weld the pan on the car.
Drain oil
Leave oil plug out
Clean spot
Weld
Done.
I know I had this done that way.
Worked LUCKILY quite well and effective.
The right solution & cheap fix, better results.
PS Watch where ya put that floor jack down there!

Most gas tank putty also says for oil and can be used under water on a boat so on and so fourth. It will work. Just drain the oil, clean and sand the area well so the stuff can grab. The oil pan is not under pressure. In theory, duct tape would work.
Or a Fm104 bumper sticker.

Only thing I am worried about is when i went to try to tighten the bolt, oil pan drain nut, it made it leak a little more. I don't want to screw it up anymore. It right in the curve where it flattens out on the bottom. Looks like it bottomed out on something. You think it still should be fine? Thanks man

I have a dent in my oil pan very very like that, I hit a rock with the bolt on my oil pan. I tried using liquid metal to fix it but it still leaks slowly. Not enough to be a problem between oil changes though.

If you have a good friend who can weld you could do that.
I would probably weld it myself but problem is.
Unless you know you can trust the guy. A shop could easily screw it up / blow through all over. and make it so you can't even leave. Then charge ya for changing it.
Oil pan isn't super thin but it would be easy to blow through and make a mountain out of a mole hill if you went skilled in thin metal welding.
I've welded up paper thing rusty metal before but you gotta dance all over and looks can't be a factor when your done.
