So, back to the track again...
14.95 @ 101mph @ 6-7psi (I'm leaking out the stupid cheap BOV!!) with (IIRC) a 2.64 60'
Just a quick update, that's all. a LOT of 15.xx runs, and the 14.95. 2 100+ traps, and a load of 98.
6-7psi of T61 = 9-10psi of 16g, so far.
Bigger injectors, HD Zexel torsen posi, LCAs, LCA brackets, aluminum driveshaft (LS1), and V8 T5 all coming next, in the next couple of weeks....
So yeah, the 3.1L broke into the triple digit traps. Happy as all hell here

That car's getting to be a real monster bro.
The 5.0, shortly before the motor blew, hit the dyno and only managed roughly 244 rwhp and 280 ft lbs.... Granted it was running all kinds of bad and finally crapped out, but damn man. Never thought I'd see a thirdgen V6 approaching BUILT v8 numbers!

Yeah, I should be about 255rwhp right now... Dyno will tell, when I get her tuned enough to warrant a trip to the dyno

Damn...once I get the 5.0 back on the road (whenever I figure out exactly WHAT in that motor I destroyed)...I'm gonna have to race ya!

Bring it!! I shut down my buddy in his '96 Dodge Ram (318, headers, dual mandrel exhaust + x pipe and 100shot of nitrous) TWICE.
Of course, he did have a 14.85 earlier that night.... but the two times he lined up against me, he got shut down

Heh It'd be a hell of a lot of fun for sure man. I'll let you know whenever I fix it, we definitely gotta meet at OSW.
Best timeslip I pulled was 13.73 at 103.8, with a 2.2 60', street tires

In a couple months I'll have the ported intake manifold, 2400 stall, 4.10's w/ LSD. Then I'll be pushing real close to 13's!!!!

I must still have the top 60' times of the 60* V6s (or 318 rams) on this board! Junior Member

wow...I figured it would want to spin even with the other stuff. So, yeah, I guess the gears and convertor would help! I was gonna ask about the ceramic on the headers...glad it still looks good!

Ha, no, the Ram has no launching troubles. He doesn't have enough power to spin 'em.

And on a more helpful note, have a good 3.4 with good mileage, runs good, maybe it will help you in your quest for 60* speed

throw what you want at that "little v6" i have no doubts that by the time D is done with the tuning, it will be a V8 force to be reckoned with. and if that cant get the job done, i know a turbo 331 cherry red drop top that will pick up the slack..

331 running 14.7's? Wow, what's broken? That's slower than stock with a good driver. I hope it's 14.7 at like 115+ mph!
I did 13.73 with blowby, then the motor blew up.
I did 14.5 with a mildly modded 302, with 150,000 miles...bad rings on every cylinder...and a badly bent connecting rod.

Wow... guys, READ. It's a BONE STOCK '95 302 HE'S GOT RIGHT NOW DOING A 14.7 IN A CONVERTIBLE! Just off suspension work.
The 331 is what he'll be coming back with, once the 3.1L T61 and the Nitrous equipped Dodge Ram beat a 14.7

man i feel bad at what my mustang runs, try a 348 stroker kit and dart 2 heads with a good cam and trac bars. it will help get you down to the 13's maybe even 12's with some tuning. i am still trying to catch my buddies 88 gt. he runs high 8's but he got almost 20,000 in the engine and another 10 in the tranny and rear end. when you get that mustang down to 9's call me and i will bring the mustang out of retirement for a couple of runs(til i get black flagged for being too fast without the right safety equipt).
